-after the tRNA containing methione binds to the start codon
- the incoming tRNA bound to its amino acid enters the A site on the 30S ribosome (B).
- An enzyme on the 50S ribosome binds the next amino acid to the growing polypeptide.
-The tRNA is moved to the P site, making room at the A site for another tRNA.
