Technique of Kirby Bauer

-Start with 1mL of sterile broth and place it into a sterile test tube
-Next suspend one colony from our hand print plate in the broth
-Take a sterile swab and dip it into the test tube
-Run the swab over the plate until the entire plate is covered
-From there take tweezers and place in alcohol
-Burn off the alcohol and remove the tweezers from the flame quickly
-Then move an antibiotic disk and place it into the plate
-Label on each plate which antibiotic is where
