Temperature Requirements
Psychrophiles: grow best in -5 C- 10 C any warmer they will die because when its too hot it denatures the proteins
Mesophiles- grow best in 20C to 35C all bacteria that live in our bodies are mesophiles
Thermophiles 60C-saturated fats, membrane, more stable at higher temperatures
hyperthermophiles- 100C have lots of GC and little AT in DNA, are more stable at higher temperatures
